iPage : Our team has been hosting business, personal, social and non-profit websites for more than 10 years. We know web hosting and the typical hosting customer, which means we know there is NO typical hosting customer. That's why iPage offers a great deal of flexibility, without overcomplicating things.
Moreover, we focus on the three things our customers care about: their websites, their email and their online security.
Your Website
You have so many options when it comes to creating your website. To give you the freedom you need to create an online presence that reflects your brand or personality, we support all of them.
From online site builders to software — such as Expressions or Dreamweaver — to blogging applications to writing your own code with HTML, you'll have the access and support you need to create a great website.

I have been an iPage customer for 8 years, I picked them because of their extensive list of products and their availability of help! I have not been disappointed! In fact they have exceeded my expectations on both fronts, they continually bring new products to the control panel, many are free some are fee based. Having the products in one location rather than on different sites really makes my work flow much easier and time efficient.
iPage support is second to none, I am not an expert at Web design and I have had many questions, iPage support answers in a timely manner, has capable friendly staff and always takes the time to help me understand the solution!
iPage is perfect for novice to experienced, I recommend them for your web page hosting and design.

I started with iPage a couple of years ago, but don't be fooled - the $2.25 a month doesn't cover much of anything. If you want sitelock support, SEO, or any other addons expect to pay big. I purchased a premium package on my domain which would allow me to host subdomains. It wasn't cheap, but it included SiteLock protection and eCommerce, so I agreed. Well, one of the subdomains got hacked, and I was told it didn't have the SiteLock attached to it, so - oh, well - the only way I could fix it was to add SiteLock at $49.99 a month. Seriously? When I've already paid almost $500 for two years of web hosting?
I despise being told I have no choice but to purchase something that should have already been on the site to begin with. I tried to call my rep, but his number was changed. I called the new number, but when I entered his five digit extension, their phone system dropped my call...FIVE TIMES. I tried calling again and hitting "0" for the "next available rep" and it went to someone's voice mail. I tried again, thinking this was a fluke, but it happened again. "Next available rep" MEANS SOMEONE ANSWERS THE BLEEPING PHONE!
That's only part of the trouble. I can't get the RSS feed for my primary domain to work in any RSS feeder system. I always get a "this is not a valid RSS feed" message when I try. After spending hours online with my sales rep and support, I was told they show it is a "valid" RSS feed, so there must be something wrong with the 10 or so places I needed to add it. (Again - seriously??)
Now my primary domain is down until SiteLock gets it up and running.

I have been with iPage for two years. Last year I started receiving notifications (notice that was plural) that my hosting was set to expire. As I did not wish to renew I did nothing. My account automatically renewed and it is non-refundable. After that I went in and set my hosting preferences to NOT auto-renew. This year, same story. I started receiving notifications, I double checked and yes, I was set to NOT auto-renewal. (Their emphasis.)
Guess what... my domain automatically renewed again. The domain renewal and the hosting renewal are two separate areas. Again, they will not refund my renewal fee. My only suggestion to whoever reads this, I have no complaints with the actual hosting, just understand how their billing is set up. While I am computer literate and I believe fairly intelligent, I am a novice when it comes to this aspect of the internet. Hopefully my lack of knowledge will help someone else.
